A Quick Reminder for a Quality Skin Care Routine

   June/25/2011

Following the right steps for skin care is crucial!  Each step prepares your
skin for the next. With everything that's available and right at your
fingertips, it’s tempting to purchase an exciting new product only to
discover that you’re not quite sure where it fits into your daily regimen.

This is the official ARTISTRY™ approach to great skin– straight from the mouths of our experts!
Follow these steps daily, both morning and night!

   1.  Cleanse your face and neck with your cleanser (take eye make-up off
first with a product made for the eyes).

   2.  Tone your face and neck with a cotton pad that has been saturated with
your selected toning formula.  This step removes all remaining traces of
cleanser.  It also restores your skin to a normal and balanced pH level,
making it receptive to the next important step. Check the cotton pad to make
sure it's clean. Cheaper make-up and a long day outside could clog your
pores up more so do an extra cleanse if the cotton pad looks dirty.

   3.  Treat your skin with the products selected for your particular needs.
Target fine lines, discoloration, loss of elasticity, blemishes or uneven
skin tone in this all-important step.   Light-as-a-feather ARTISTRY products
are best absorbed by clean, balanced skin.  Apply them sparingly to face and
neck; they won't feel heavy or greasy.

   4.  Pamper the eyes.  Using the tip of your ring finger, dab eye crème
under each eye and around the outer corners.

   5.  Final step. Moisturize and protect your skin with a moisturizer
containing sun protection to halt moisture loss and damage from dry external
conditions and UV rays.  ARTISTRY moisturizers are designed to provide just
the right amount of hydration whether your skin is dry or oily.  Many
contain specially-formulated complexes which enhance the effects of ARTISTRY
products and have all been tested on sensitive skin.  However, if
sensitivities still exist, a formula without SPF is offered.

   Once or twice a week:

Indulge yourself with a relaxing facial masque.  One that is recommended for your skin type. Remove your makeup, cleanse your skin, slather on one of the technologically-advanced ARTISTRY masques and put your feet up.  You'll benefit from an extra boost of skin-enhancing
action, whether you need deep cleansing or super moisturizing.  After 20
minutes, remove the masque, cleanse once more, and proceed to tone, treat
   and moisturize.

I also recommend exfoliating once or twice a week. If your using the
Artistry Polishing Scrub you would use this in place of your cleanser.
Remember to pair the Skin Refinishing Lotion with this step. This lotion is
put on as a treatment, before eyes and mosturizer.

My question is, how many of you knew that the treatment products are
applied before your moisturiser? Most do them after...

Let me know if you have any questions or if you want me to cover a topic.
Hope your having a great summer
   Blessings,
   Jennifer

Miss Georgia 2011

As some of you might know, I work with a lot of pageant ladies because Artistry is a Miss America Sponsor. All the ladies at Miss America are wearing Artistry and Miss America gets a $50,000 scholarship from us as well as the honor of being the Artistry Ambassador. The Miss Georgia Pageant officially starts this week and I'm so excited for my girls and really rooting for them! I'm sure they are feeling a little nervous but they were looking and sounding confident the last time I saw them. Plus, their skin is looking gorgeous!! Good luck Jessi Young, Miss Warner Robins Outstanding Teen 2011 and Lindsay Schafer, Miss Warner Robins 2011. You will represent your city well.
